It’s time to start planning for the 2025 RTCM Assembly and Conference!

If you haven’t yet seen our “Save the Date” flyer on the website or in RTCM’s Fall Newsletter, now’s the time to mark April 14-17, 2025, on your calendars.

This year’s program will feature presentations by leading technical authorities, key government professionals, and industry representatives involved in the development and management of maritime electronic systems. Sessions will cover advancements in satellite and terrestrial maritime communications, shipboard and shoreside electronics, autonomous systems, and relevant technical standards and policy issues. We’ve taken your feedback from last year to make this year’s conference even better.

One notable change is that we’ve condensed the program into four days, Monday through Thursday, with a hard stop by 4 PM on Thursday. Our content will include two days of plenary sessions with featured speakers or panel discussions, the spring meeting of the GMDSS Task Force, a Digital@Sea North America component, the Beacon Manufacturers Workshop, and RTCM Special Committee meetings.

So, mark your calendars, submit your requests to present, and get ready for a packed week of engaging with speakers, fellow professionals, and representatives from RTCM’s 140 member organizations and guests. The RTCM Assembly and Conference is the annual event that will prepare you for upcoming changes in maritime communications and navigation systems and allow you to help shape those changes.

For more details about RTCM and updates about the Assembly Meeting and Conference, please visit our homepage or contact us at [email protected]. Expect the links for making reservations and registering for the conference to go live mid-late November.

We are excited to provide a special conference rate for hotel accommodations at the One Ocean Resort and Spa in Atlantic Beach, Florida. Availability is limited, so we encourage you to book your room nights early to secure your reservation!  Additionally, shoulder nights will be offered three days before and after the conference—consider extending your stay to enjoy the sun, beach, and the vibrant shopping, dining, and entertainment options in Atlantic Beach!
